I have seen them make a brilliant star* and it would grieve me much to see then* fall out now —on the other hand I hope to Sec them go sm to greater and better things. If we ~ould reach the place where we could nave a rural graded school in < vorv '••■ ntry district and a 12-grade high s« hool in every high school district in the state we would then make it possible for ^very child to get a good common school edheation.
