Death of Mrs. I.Lulr Griffin.
On Friday morning. Mvrch 20th,
1914, the angel of death viaf ed the
home cf B. F Griffin arid claimed as
its victim his beloved wife, Llzzfe.
She suffered one week with hemor
rhagic fever and here it wl|5j p: tience
without a word of complain.. She
tolned the church at nn early age
and remained a consistent member
until the end. She was a devoted
mother, a true sirter and a loving
wife. Her remains ’were interred
on Saturday at 12 o'clock at Bethel
Cemetery, a host of sorrowing friends
and relatives being in attendance.
The leaves to mourn her loss a
heart broken husband, two children,
a mother four brothers three sisters,
end a hor.t of friends r.nd relatives,
we feel that this community has lost
one of its bright shining lights and
'hit there can never be another io
till her place; but oh! it Is so com
fort ing to the crushed hearts '0 know
that while she was once suffering,
ih • is now in that Beautiful City
with her Lord and angels.
