I am now cutting up the Broxton place of 500 acres in Broxton township,Colleton
County, into small tracts. Located in one of the best sections of the county and one
of the finest citizenship in the state, this land is three and a half miles below Ashton
on the Hampton and Branchville Railroad, and about four miles from a good station
on the Ehrhardt and Walterboro Railroad.
IT IS STIFF, DARK LOAMY SOIL, WITH CLAY CLOSE TO SURFACE
AND CAPABLE OF MAKING A BALE OF COTTON AND 35 TO 40 BUSHELS Of
CORN TO THE ACRE. I have owned and farmed in Orangeburg County some of
its best lands, but I have never seen finer lands than this Colleton place has on it
In fact, there are lands on this place capable of growing as big crops as has ever been
grown in Orangeburg, Marlboro, or any other county in the state. Young man. do
not make the mistake I made for a number of years. I rented mother’s home place and
p&idforit. I at last took my wife’s advice and bought a home on time, and the rents I
had been paying paid for it. . ..
Now read carefully. 1 am going to cut this place up in small tracts and sell it
to you on easy terms. Quit renting and buy a home. Write me for terms, etc. at

T here is no time in the
Whole Year when man gets so
'
great a desire to be well dressed as
at Thanksgiving time. Not alone
because it is Thanksgiving, but be-
cause he realizes that it’s only a short time to the hol
iday season, when, t'-ips, social Yuletide and New
Year events demand faultless attire. r
