EXHIBITS.
Over One Thousand Dollars will be given
for the best in the agricultural products
and live stock of the county. Crops of all
kidns, live stock of all descriptions, will be
welcomed to the Fair. Sanitary stalls have
been provided for the stock, and the best of
attention will be given them by experienc
ed men. The Poultry show will be a feature.
Several attractive premiums are offered
in the Ladies Department for all products
of the home. The Historical Department
will be better than ever. Be sure to enter
something in the different departments of
the fair^ It will help you, and us.
CARNIVAL.
For the “City of Tents” this year Hop
kins Shows will be featured. This is the
largest Carnival Company playing the
South at this time, and carries ten shows,
all kinds of riding devices and amusement
features. Several free acts will be staged
on the midway, and you will miss a great
treat if you fail to attend. Absolutely
moral, but bristling with fun and pleasure,
the midway will appeal to all.-

IT FOR EXHIBITION. THE LADIES OF
THE COUNTY ARE ESPECIALLY
ASKED TO SEND IN THE PRODUCTS
OF THE HOME.
REMEMBER THAT A FAIR AND JUST
SYSTEM OF JUDGING WILL BE USED
AND EVERY ONE WILL HAVE AN
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TO WIN THE
PRIZES OFFERED.
SPEAKING.
The Leading men of the State in politics,
law, religion and education will be present
and make addresses* the following being
the list of speakers:
Opening Day, Governor Cole. Blease.
Second Day, Senator E. D. Smith. " :
. Third bay, J. Walter Daniel and State
Supt. J. E. Swearingen. :>
Fourth Day, (Negro Day) Richard Car-
roll.
These are certainly the strongest spea
kers which could be secured and thousands
will greet them.
RACING.
This year the racing department has
been given more attention than ever, and
the steeds in this sction of the country will
enter the lists. Severa’ attractive prem
iums are offered for the winning horses.
Dr. W. B. Ackerman is Superintendent of
the Racing Department and he will gladly
furnish any information along this line
which any one may desire. His Address
is Walterboro. Get into communication
with him. Adequate stoll room has bee::
provided.
