Daniel, Presiding Elder of the Charleston Circuit of the Methodist church, delighted a large audience here Sunday night with one of the most masterful sermons ever delivered in Walterboro. The large congregation listened atten tively during the address and all who heard it have- expressed them selves as delighted with the thought. Dr Daniel as a pulpit orator has the faculty of holding the attention of his hearers, and the people of Walterboro have learned to look forward with much pleasure to his quarterly visits here. Dr Daniel pre sented several new thoughts on Sun day night and made a plea for a more progressive movement among the churches.
