As secre tary of the League, I have received only a few nnmes. Only almut ten of the churches have up to this time taken vny action in the matter. This has been due perhaps to neglect, or perhaps to the fact that the pastors have been busy with their proraded meetings. But be that as it may. it is earnestly urged that the churches give their immediate attention to this important matter. Plegse ap point your delegates. Let no ehurch be afraid to take hold of this stork. It in a very Im portant work, and presents a duty and a- privilege which we as Chris tian citizens ran ill afford to neg lect. We do not propose to be offlcl- ouh. We do propose to put the bent citizens of the county behind ilie of- fiera whose duty it is to enforce the law. Much good has been done al ready. but this is only a beginning. If we put forth the proper effort at this time we can give Colleton an enviable name among the counties of the State. l,et ua get busy and keep busy till our most 'worthy object shall have been accomplished.
