time had come to depart from loved
ones of this; life, to await the reunion
in the world beyond.
She bore her slcknen with pa
tience 'had was always loving and
cberful. Particularly nd is her
death oa account of the little three-
weeks’ old infant ahe left to be pro
vided for by a loving father and
tender care of a loving half sister.
Mrs Gruber was the dafthter of
Mr and Mrs C. W. Jaques of CotUge-
vtlle. She was first married to Mr
Asbury Rhoda, of whom she leaves
three children. Mable, Wilburn and
Adrton Rhode. She whs next mar
ried to Mr Gruber of whom she
leaves two children. Bartow, and a
little infant She was a noble lady
being held ia the highest esteem by
all who knew hey. Her death bn
caused the spread wf a heavy gloom
over the community In which ahe
lived. -
The funeral services were • con
ducted at the Jordon burying
» grouqd on Tuesday evening by Rev
^ LJflT Ackerman in the presence of
ghosts of friends and relatives. She
was a member of Bethany Baptist
<hurcb and served ^ter Lord faithful
ly. May the Lord bless the heart
broken husband and the motherless
children end comfort them in the
dark sorrows of life and may v e be
able to meet her around the bright
throne of God in heaven.
