water famine for the last few days
on'account of repairs being made on
the. pumping station. It da thought
that the repairs will be finished to
morrow and that the town will im
mediately souie a sufficient fiow of
water.
• The alarm was given Tuesday
^about 7 o’clock p. m. on account of a
small fire In the home of Dr Parker
Barnes. The fire was soon put out
and very little damage done.
