Have Been Restored to Health By Lydia E.
Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound.
There is no doubt about this fact. Why i during the
last 30 years we have published in the newspapers of this
country’ volumes of letters from women who have been re
lieved of all their suffering by the timely aid of this grand
old medicine. Letters like the following, true, genuine and
honest expressions of gratitude coming from grateful hearts.
Surely you can believe these women.
Mrs. L. 8. BRENNER, Hudson, Mich., says:—
"Sometime ago I was taken with a terrible pain in ray right side, swch
sharp pains just like a knife stieking me. I trit^i hot applications but that
did no good. I went to our family doctor f we were living in Fayette, Ohio,
at that time) and ha said it was organic inflammation. 1 doctored with him
s while but kept getting worn*?. The pain was so terrible 1 could hardly,
aland on my feet. I would have that sharp pain in my right side, and s
dull heavy pain the whole length of my limb. I realized that something
had to be done quickly, so I looked up all of your ad vert i vments I could
flndr^nd .saw several that ugsegibed my case,, LgR) * bottle of Lydia E.
Dinkbam’s Vegetable Compound and It helped me from the first dose, and #
when I had taken two bottles mv trouble was gone. Your medunne has
done so much for me that I am willing you should publish this letter for the
sake of other auffering women.”—Mrs. L. S. Drlnxeh, Hudson, Michigan.
Mrs. L. E. BOWERS, Girard, Pa.,say»:-
" I take pleasure in informing you of what Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable
Compound has done for me. 1 had a sick spell last February, and for
some months after that I was not regular and had many bad feelings. I
was tired all the time, had dull headaches, not much appetite, and also
what the doctor called organic inflammation. Your Vegetable Compound
has entirely cured me and 1 feel th^t too much cannot be said in its praise
as l am now able to do my pwn wqpfc. You are perfectly welcome to use
my testimonial for the benefit of others.”—Mrs. L. E. Bo WEBS, R.F.D. No. I,
Girard, Pa.
Mrs. ELIZABETH GENTILCORE, Buffalo, N.Y„*ays: —
*• l feel that I must write to you abodl your wonderful remedies. About
ten years ago 1 was troubled with female weakness and was all run down.
I was tired all the time and could hardly walk without feeling diazy. I
heard about Lydia E. Pinkham’s Vegetable Compound, took It, and also
used the Sanative Wash. I got stronger, and have not had those dizzy
• spells since. I feel that I owe my health to yon, and nope yojir remedies
will help Others as they have me. I tried most everything I heard of, and
yours are the best medicine* far women's ailments.”—Mrs. Elizabeth Gex-
tilcork, Glor Street, Buffalo, New York.
For 30 years Lydia E. Pinkhiun’s Vegetable
Compound has been the stumlnrd remedy for fe
male ills. No one -sick with woman** ailments
does Justice to herself if she does not try this fa
mous medicine made from roots and herbs, it
has restored so many suffering Witanen to health.

The Availibility of Sources of Nitro
gen-Hints on Home-mixing Per
tilizer.
When mixing fertilizers it is well
to use two sources oi nitrogen, be
cause of the differer.c*? in rapidity of
coming Into availability of the
ources. We prefer to get about one-
third of the nitrogen from an inor
ganic source and two thirds from an
organic source. If all of the nitrogen
for (otton or corn is to be derived
from one source, we would advise the
use of an organic sou&e.
Nitrate of eoda is immediately
available to the plant and sulphate
of ammonia and dried blood are very
rapidly available, dried blood being
probably the most rapidly available
organic source. We would advice
the use of about one hundred pounds
per ton of one of the above named
sources, and the balance of the ni
trogen to come from cotton seed
meal, high graded ground fish, or
high grade tankage. We advise the
use of the high grade fish and tank
age because the low grade fish and
tankage "usually has much fins or
bone present, as the case may be,
'nd the nitrogen content is lowered,
and, as, these materials do not decay
as rapidly as the flesh, the nitrogen
present Is less available, the less it
is derived from flesh. Bone, especial
ly raw bone, on account of Its' lasting
qualities is much prized as an or
chard fertilizer. Cotton seed meal
is a good drier and therefore a good
source of organic nitrogen.
In homesmixing wo advise the
fanners to use only the sources of ni
trogen that are knowm to give good
results, such as have been already
mentioned . Any or all of the above
can be mixed with acid phosphate
and potash salts, there being no in
compatibilities.
