Whereas application has been
made to the Connty board of Edu
cation for Colleton County to or
der o an election In Peniel
School Dietrict No. 44 on the (loca
tion of voting an additional tax
levy of 5 mills in said District and
a petition presented sigeed by one-
third of the qualified electors acd
resident freeholders of the age of
twenty one in said district, praying
said election be ordered. „
It is ordered under section 1208,
of the- Code of Civil Laws, 1902,
tht-t aa election be held Saturday.
Nov. 4, 1911 at Peniel school
house or other convenient place
within said district and that only

those persons who return real or
personal property for taxation, and
present registration certificates aa
provided in genera' elections be al
lowed to vote at said election. Each
elector favoring the proposed tax
shall cast a ballot containing the
words "For Additional Tax” printed
or written thereon, and each elec
tor opposed to said additional tax
shall vote a ballot containing the
words "Against Additional Tax”
printed or written thereon
Polls will be opened at 8 o’clock
a. m. and closed at 4 o'clock, p. m.
