Address She leave* a husband and one child The burial of Nell Redlsh took place in the afternoon the funeral a nervtce* being,conducted by Rev. G. A. Martin of Lodge. Malarial fever brought about the death of this little girl. When last 1 we saw this little girl of only nine [ sutnmers she was very promising ! and displayed an ynusually bril liant mind for her Jage. She was also sunny and kind-hearted. The bereaved families of these departed friends have our sympa thy. The annual children'* day came off at Tabernacle last Sunday. As they/have been doing heretofore the children and their superintendent B. L. Jone#, added another success ful children's day to those that proceeded. They had only a short time to practice but no one could detact it judging front the well giv en recitations. The audience was large, and every*>ody seemed to enjoy the exercises abundantly F. F. Herndon, of Charleston was pres ent and made a splendid address. Mr. Herndon was formerly of this place and hta many frieada and relative* were glad to tea him.
