New' desks aad blackboards costing $113 had just been install ed all of which was a total Hma. la addition to the furniture a fine old piano belonging tofMrs Liston was burned. This was loaned to tho school fr aa entertainment and had not been carried back. Mr. Liston’s loan la estimated at between $400 and $500. Hendersonville School Closed. After n successful term Hender sonville High school held Its clos ing exercises Friday night, June 2. at the Methodist church.
