fight to have the Kdisto river made
navigable. From what we have
heard the Colletou representative,
Mr. Smith, was n wheel bor*e before
D. Bell, then the Masons took charge
of the body burying him with Ma
sonic honors.
I knew LeGrand Ulmer all his
life,- went through the war with
him- always found him a true and
trusted friend. By request I pay
this tribute to this memory.
