How to Enter the Contest * Fill out the Nomination Ballot and send it to the Contest Mana ger of The Press and Standard. Each contestant is entitlee to one nomination ballot, good for 1,000 votes. Contestants can nominate themselves. They do not have to be subscribers of The Press and Standard. There are no obligations upon entering this contest, and it costs you nothing to try it Send in your name or that of a friend today. Rules and Conditions Any question arising between contestants will be settled by the Contest Management and its decision will be absolute and final. No votes will be issued unless accompanied by the full subscription price. In case of a tie, ten days extra will be allowed for the tying parties to work it off. Votes once issued to one candidate cannot be changed to the credit of another. Each year's subscrption to The Press and Standard, whether new or a renewal, will entitle the contestant to 1000 votes. No subscription will be accepted for less than six months. Each dollar collected on a back subscrip- will entitle a contestant to 1000 votes. Always state whether a subscription is new or a renewal. Subscriptions may be secured anywhere. A committee of unimpeachable men will be chosen to judge the finish of the contest Right is reserved to reject the name of any candidate for cause. Also to alter the rules and conditions should occasion demand. The contest officially begins January 2, 1911, and ends at 4 p. m., April 16, 1911. All contestants by entering this contest agree to abide by the above rules and conditions.
