THE SUNDAY SCHOOL PROMOTER.
One of the conditions to be met in
competing for the state banner is
a large county subscription list to
the State Sunday school organ. The
South Carolina Sunday School Pro
moter. This is a most excellent
periodical and we would urge all of
our township associations to do all
possible In the way of increasing
the circulstion of this paper in our
county. Wherever s eltilf of fifty
can be made th« price will be reduc
ed to the nominal sum of ten-cents a
year. Sample copies will be sup
plied by the county secretary upon
request.

Convention to be held in the city of
Spartanburg, March 28-2^30, 1911,
the Thirty-fourth Annual Conven
tion of the South Carolina Sunday
School Association will be the big
gest thing in a religious way our
State hss ever witnessed. Some of
the strongest talent on the Interna
tional force has been secured for
the program. Messrs. Tullar and
Meredith of New York city, who so
delighted their audiences upon two
former convention occasions, will be
present to direet the singing, y
On Wednesday afternoon Si the
convention there wii) be a great
men’s Bible class parade of two
thousand men. Organized Bible
classes all over th« State are enter
ing with enthusiasm into this fea
ture of the program. One dam of
eighty-seven is planning to have at
least eigty mat in line inarching un
der their own dam banner.
' It is very desirable just at this
time for all organised Bible and
teacher training dames In our coun
ty, that have not already done so,
to register with the State Superin
tendent of these respective depart
ments. These officers are urgent In
their request that all classes enroll
at once in order that the state
officers may reach them with litera
ture and all necessary information
the State convention. Then, too,
according to this registration will
