0 Two bottles Cured My Rheumatism” “ I have been a suf ferer from rheumatism for about two years, and have used many lini- 1 meats and patent medi cines which gave me no* relief. . A lady friend of mine told me she had used your Liniment and found relief at once. I got two bottles and they'cured me. 1 think it is the best Liniment a person can have in the house. 1 shall always keep a bottle in my house as lon| as I can get it M —Mas. E. R. Wallace, Morrisons, Va. Mas. James McGeaw, of 1216 Mandeville St, New Orleans, La., writes •— « I take pleasure in writing to you that I had a pain in my arm for five years, and I used for one week and was completely cured. I recommend your Liniment very highly.” Sloan s Liniment instantly relieves stiffness of the Joints, Sore Throat, Hoarseness, Sprains, Neuralgia, Sciatica and Lumbago. TAX PAYER NOT ANSWERED YET Editor The Press and Standard:—- We endorse all the tax payer said and more ttw-that this matter should l»e settled by the courts one way or the other. We understand that from or through the present ment of the grand jury in 1907 or 1909 that the county received fifteen or sixteen hundred dollars, and later on the same grand jurors asked for a special Act to invsstigate, which was defeated by the legislators. Later on when there was a new del egation the Act was passed and an expert was appointed according to the same to examine the books for nine or ten years back; which he did and made his report finding five or six thousand dollars short in our ex treasurers'account. ■ *> Now it seems to me that if the old grand jurors had the authority to have thil investigation made that the incoming grand jurors should have tiken this matter up for investiga tion by the court*, which has not been done. We understand that the attention of the grand jurors was called to this matter this year, and for some reason, best khown to themselves, did not do or try to do pny thing with the matter. Now if the proper officials or custodians of the county’s interests do not move in thismtfltcr. Jet a delegation of tax payers appeal to the courts to adjust this matter. There seems to be too much timidity just along this line. Alt we want is a fair deal for “Tax-payer” and others. One of the Boys.
