ATTENTION, BUYERS!
To the Union Farmers and the Bnying Public of Walterboro and Colleton
County, and to All Whom It May Concern: ^
I have been doing business with Mr. F. C. Bennett, the proprietor
of the Union Farmers’ Bargain House, for several years, until he discon
tinued business four years ago. three miles from this cit^,
When I started business with him I found that I could buy my goods
from him as cheap or cheaper than I could buy them in Charleston anl
save the freight, and I bought a lot of goods, too. for my wood and tie
eutters, and farm hands, and am now doing business with him again He
has a large number of customers of all classes, and he does a hustling bus
iness, and gives his traders the greatest satisfaction. They all have the
greatest confidence in him. for you can hear it said on au sides that they
get more goods and better goods and better weight and measure for less
money than they can get elsewhere. . — '
He stood to everything he sold and every promise he made, and I
find him the same today as I found him then. He is a hustling farrier
and one of tbe most successful in this State. I have seen him ploughing!
ditching, digging stumps and wells, clearing new land, and building up
houses and doing the carpenter work, and everything else that a hustling
man can do.
I will say to all farmers and laborers that if they will make his store
their headquarters to do their buying that they wili soon see that they
have bwn benefitted as I have. I am satisfied that once you start business
with him vou will continue, if square dealing and sharing profits are what
you want.
Yours for business. J. B. GLOVER.
