oratory such as had not been heard

Col. John D. Edwards, candidate for
re-election as probate judge, were
present. The audience was liberal
with applause, and nearly ever)' can
didate received some. It is no use
to state that any were favorites as
the vote recorded elsewhere in this
paper will testify who they were.
An object of considerable interest,
referred to by some of the speakers.
