County Chairman Howell, who ex
pressed his gratitication that the cam
paign had been conducted orer the
county on such a high plane. He
did not undertake to discuss any of
the-questions which coinposed the
issues, leaving that to the candi
dates, but he was of the opinion that
the time for progressive forward
movement was here. .
The candidates for Probate Judge
led off : The candidates for the Sen
ate being the last to speak. The
candidates all made good speeches,
showing their training during the
last two weeks had not been in vain!
There were no incidents of
special note. Perhaps the chief in
terest centered in the Senatorial can
didates, lioth of whom'had a good
follow ingin the-audience and^each
