The office of this paper will be a
lively'place Tuesday night. It will
be the headquarters for the returns
of the election, and there will doubt
less be a large crowd present to read
the bulletins of the results of County
and State elections as they come in
over the wires. We* have'made ar
rangements to get the returns of
both State and County, and we
shall try to have a nearly total vote

this end we have addressed a letter
to each set of managers urging them
to get us the returns at whatever
cost some time Tuesday night. We
trust they will exert themselves as
it is very important that we get the
returns promptly and remember we
wish State as well as county votes. /
