Our home was rendered desolate
and our hearts ma«i*- sad, oh.so sad,
on November 21, when the I>»rd
called my dear grandfather, W. R.
Hickman, to live with him. Ha
leaves a wife and four buys and threo
girls and a ht^t of fronds to mourn
his departure. He was a tender and
loving husband and father, lit-has
gone where there will be no stekr.ess
and sorrow. We know w here to find
him by the life ne lived. Oh it is
good to love the I> rd, for we have
tasted and we have seen tnat the
Lord is good. He suffered so much. . ,

One by one we are living out our
days on earth and our task will soon
be done. Soon you will hear^ the
doorbell ring--you must open the
door wide, grandfather, for we all
expect to come in.

(girls). Mrs Muller was sick
for a short time with typhoid
fever. All was done for her

She suffered a great deal but
bore her sickness with patience
and fortitude. When the end
came she gladly answered the
summons and was ready to go.
Early in life she joined Pine
Grove Baptist church and was a
consistent member. She w as a
daughter of Mr and Mrs E E
Herndon and w as married to G
Muller the 4th of April, 1909.
She was in the bloom of life—22
years and two months old. By
request of her husband her re
mains and the two babies were
laid to rest beneath a flower
mound, w’hich was placed with
gentle care at Grace church
Thursday morning, July the
21st, the funeral services being
conducted by Rev B F Halford.
She leaves a husband and two
little boys, father, mother, three
brothers and one sister to mourn
their loss. The little boys will
b#» adopted by their uncle, Eddie
Morris, of Stokes. The two
babies were laid to rest in their
mother’s arms. , Aunt
