Cured of severe compound
cold and cough by -
VtTTol
••From Dec. 20, ’08. to March I, ’09,
I had three bad cblda, one on top of the
other. I got so weak I could hardly
get around. Nothing (teemed to help
me until I began to take Vlnol. The
change was magic. Three t>ottie.« com
pletely fixed that compound cold and
stopped the terrible cough-and what
surprises me most, at the same time
it cured me of a severe stomach trouble
that has bothered me for 20 years.
Vlnol Is certainly a wonderful medicine.”
Mr.Toppan is one of Lynn’s most prominent and highly respected
merchants, whose word is as good as his bond.
The reason Vino! is so successful in such cases is because it
‘contains the two most world-famed toniCs-^-the medicinal, struigth-
emng^jo<!TTmi!dm^e!emctU^d Cod TTver ()il and Tonic Iron.

Rincon, Ga., -April 29.—Editor'
Pro.su and Standard: Will you allow '

Press and Standard 1 came across R.
G. W. Bryan's announcement of the
annual veteran’s picnic at ■ Black
Creek Mill to take place May 19.
• It takes me back to my young
days When I, with my dear sisters
and only brother, gathered with our
friends and neighbors to . have pic

Slid join in singing songs of praise,
hut oh, those* days are passed and
gone. One of my sisters has crossed
over the river of death since then
the r* st are still living some in
S >uth Carolina and two of us in
Georgia. We are scattered on this
earth, but 1 pray we will meet in
heaven Ground the throne of God,
and meet with other loved ones, who
have gohe before, where we can join
in singing proises forever more.
Mow’ I wish I could attend this
coming picnic and meet with sorm
of my old friends and relatives,
whom 1 have not seen in many, long
years. Hoping that each of them
who read this letter will pray for
the.absent one that God will care
for and protect her and give her
strength to bear her burdens, is the
prayer of the writer. •

DEATH OF LimE ALMA
DRAWDY.
This sprirg one year ago our baby,
Alma, left us. It was hard to give
her up, and we miss her every day,
but we know that she is happy in
the presence of the Savior, in the
blessed home above, playing with
the little children and the angels
around the throne of God.
Al. ia. dear, we miss you, yes,
miss you more and more, for your
sweet voice is silenced, and your
tender loving touch we cannot feel,
nor your sweet bright face do we
see, however, we feel your presence,
and iLis a comfort to know thkt you
are ever here.
With the coming of the spring,
the birds and flowers, come sweet
memories of thee, v^bich are an
incentive to us, to irmooler and bet-
ttrlife. We will meet you, little
Ainut, by and by, so look i<>r us, for
tke are coming to the Savior who
died and gave Himaeli for us. a
