I left home and dear old Colleton
to spend a while with relatives and
friends in Wilmington, N.C., and it
has Ireen my privilege to attend a
great meeting conducted by the
world-wide evangelist. R. A.Torrey,
who is assisted by Mr. Jacoby.
Messrs Wm. Young and Chas. But
ler lead the singing, and their solos
and duets are fine. The choir ha*
over two hundred voices, and when
the vast audience of over three
thousand join in,'""it is grand. This
correspondent wishes you could hear
the wonderful Glory Song sung by
this vast crowd.
Dr Torrey’s sermons are clear and
convincing, and great good has lieen
done; hundreds have professed faith
in Christ.

M. E. Church. The services were
conducted by Rev. T. A. Smoot, and
al>out fifty additions to the church.
The decorations were beautiful —
they consisted of palms, ferns. Fast
