IN MEMORY OF MISS MARTHA
NETTLES.
In memory of my dear aunt, Miss
Martha Nettles, who departed this
life January 20, 1910, at the home of
her sister, Mrs. W. W\ Bishop. She
was 65 years old.
Her brother, Willis, preceded her
just two days. She had been in fail
ing health for some time and finally
grew worse untill the end came.
Miss Martha Nettles was a woman

of noble character and had a kind
disj.<>sitiop, T She leaves a sister and
seven brothers to mourn her los-.
She was a consistent member of the
Shiloh Baptist church ami was laid
to rest in the Shiloh cemetery in the
presence of a few friends and rela
tives. Hon. VV C. Brant conducted
the burial service. Sleep on, dear
auntie, and take thy rest; we loved
thee well but God loved thee best.
Death our dearest ties can sever,
Take our loved ones from our side.
Bear them from our homes foreuei
O’er the dark, cold river’s tide.
In that happy land we’ll meet them.
With those loved and gone before,
And again with joy wlfll greet them.
There where parting is no more.
