CAURHEN AT CONFER ENCL A meeting of the Board of Stew ards of Bethel Methodist "church was held Sunday morning after services. This was the last Sunday before the Annual Conference and closed the first year's pastorate of Rev. Henry J. Cauthen, who has most acceptably filled the pastorate of this church. » . The following resolutions were unanimously adopted: Whereas, our beloved pastor. Rev. Henry J. Cauthen has served us for the past year with marked anility, and by his able preaching and loving service has greatly endeared himself t6 us; and, whereas. This is the last Sunday he will be with us until the meeting of the annua' Conference, now, therefore, be it rtsoved: 1st. That we express our ap preciation for his faithful and effi cient service as our pastor, and our sincere affection for him and his family. 2nd. That we request the Presid ing Elder and Bishop to return him to up again. 3rd. That a copy of these resolu tions be sent to the Bishop, the Presiding Elder and our paslor.
