COUNTY UNION MEETING^
The County Union meeting will lx*
held Saturday, Dec. 4. at the v Court
house at 11 o’clock. We trust every
local in the county will be represent
ed, and that the delegates will lx* at
the meeting at the time appointed.
The annual election of ‘Officers will
take place, and as President Padgett
said last week, for that reason every
local should be well represented.
Other matters of more importance,
perhaps, than, the election of oflicers
will come up for decision.

Union members at and near Is-
landton are just now quite busy
with the organization of a joint
stock company to operate a Union
store. The following members of | rect
Rice Patch local have the matter in
charge: W. M. E. Campbell, presi

treasurer. This will be incorporated
with such capital stock as shall be
determined later.

The Walterboro local will hold a
