COUNTY TEACHERS ASSOCIATION
There will be a meeting of the
teachers of Colleton County next
Saturday morning, Oct. 9th, at 11
o'clock at the Court House. The
purpose of this meeting is to orga
nize a County Teachers’ Association
and every teacher in the county is
earnestly requested to attend and
endeavor to make the association a
success.

LYCEUM COURSE.
The lyceum course, under the man
agement of Prof. H. G. Sheridan and |
D. B. Peurifoy, will be one of the
best that Walterboro has ever had.
The attractions have been selected
with great care, with the view of
pleasing a variety of tastes. There
will be six attractions during the
winter.
The first number of the course will
be presented on the 27th of October.
Floyd Featherston, who will open
the season, comes with the high
