Savannah, Sept. 11.—Special: The marriage of Mist Fredericka Wilhelmina Bruggeman and Francis Burdette Breland took place Sonday afternoon at 4 o’ clock at 24 Abercorn street, the Rev J H Wilson, D D, of the Lutheran church of the Ascen sion officiating. Miss Annie R Bruggeman, the bride’s sister, was bridesmaid, and Mr C W Tinner was groomsman. The bride, who was given away by her father. Mr Frederick H Bruggeman, wore a very pretty princess dress of white batiste, lace trimmed, and carried a bou quet of white roses. The brides maid wore a white princess dress aud carried pink roses. The wed ding march was played by Mrs Bessie Dean. Among the out-of-town guests were Mr and Mrs F Sehartf, Mrs Bawick and Miss Dora Scharfl of Charlestou, S C, Misses Kata and Aliicia Breland of Walterboro, 8 U, and Mr Henry Bruggeman and Miss Elnora Baldoskiof v/ Augusta, Ga. On Soptombor 8th little Wil liam Norward Bench, eon of Mr and Mrs W W Beach, passed away, at the age of 11 months and 27 days. He was bright lit tle boy and had stayed just long enough to entwine his little self in the sffeotioos of his parents and loved ones* When the reaper whose name is death came, and his angel spirit took its flights tn be with God, and there to await and beckon those who are left behind to follow in the steps of Him, who is meek and lowly, that they may find rest for their souls. He was buried at Drs. Creek cemetery in the presence of a few relatives and friends. We sympathize with the bereaved parents, and would say to them weep not as those who have no hope; but seek to enter in at the straight gate. In loving rememberanee of Mrs Minnie Yarn, who died August 26. She was sick only six weeeks until God called her to His SHeavenly Home. AH was done for her that loving hearts and hands oould do, but to no avail. ' She was twenty-six years and six months old. She leaves a husband and one little child, Ethel Fay, be sides a host of friends to mourn her loss. She was laid to rest in Drs Creek cemetery. She was kind and effeo- tionate and a true Christian, and her last words were, “raise my baby right aud you aud her meet me in Heaven." Sleep on dear Minuie and take thy rear, until God calls husband and baby to meet you in ^iis Heavenly home. Husband. DEATH OF J J MARTIN. J J Martin of Ravenei died at bis home Mondsy, and was buried at Btono church yesterday in the presence of a large crowd of relatives and friends.
