Special:- A very pretty June wedding was solemnized in this community on Tuesday at high noon, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Boineau: 1 he contracting parties being their daughter. Miss Jennie Wo* d. and Mr. Wilmot Kershaw of Charleston. S. C. The Rev. Kershaw. Rector of St. Michael Church, Charleston, father of the groom, officiating. Mi-s Sadie Jones, ..f Yemassee, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor, and the U*st man w&* Mr. Brinks of Jacksonboro. The bride was daintily attired in white French organdy, made semi princess and elaborately irarnatured with lace. She carried a bouquet of bride roses. The m ad of honor wore a licauti- ful gown of white organdy with blue girdle. After the c remony an elegant dinner was served to the guests, fol lowed by cake, wine and ices. The g'dng away gown of the bride was a very handsome coat suit of i blue hand embroidered with tan; 1 hat and gloves to match, w hich was exceedingly becoming to Mrs. Ker- ^ shrw’s blonde loveliness. OUR NEW HOME PICNIC AT GREEN POND CHURCH The annual picnic of the Green Pond Methodist Church will be held at that place next Saturday. July 3rd.
