Among one of the enjoyments of
the past week was a party given by

evening. On account of the inclem
ency of the weather only a few at
tended, but nevertheless it was
greatly enjoyed by all those who
were there.

A PAINFUL ACCIDENT. ‘
In a game of Ball played Wednes
day afternoon, little Clyde Padgett,
son of Mrs. Bianca Padgett, haa his
leg broken. Little Randolph Howell
was sliding to a base and struck his
leg above the ankle^ breaking it.
Clyde was taken home at once and
