John Hiers has accepted the
superiterulency _ of the Aahton
Sunday school. This is not a new
field for Mr Hiers. We feel sure
that lie will fill the chair ms ably
as helms in the past, and that
much good is in store for the
Sund iy school.
Those who attended services at
Cross Swamp last Sunday feel
well paid. Mr Ariel is deliver
ing some of the best sermons that
this section has ever keen hon
ored with. He will give two
more the first Saturday and Sun
day in June at 11 o’clock. We
wjttld love to have all of our
friends enjoy these with us. We
are proud of our preacher.
The college folk are home-
ward bound. We shall soon
have the pleasure of welcoming
Miss Pattie Rich of Winthrop,
Willard Jones, of Orangeburg
and O R Jones and John Rich, of
Olemson.
Little Herbert Varu is still at
the hospital in Savannah. His
ear, we have already reported
was cut oft by a wire, is doing
nicely. Part grem back by the
grafting process. Herbert will
not have to go throngh life with
an ugly ear. Surgery is a won
der for which many are thankful.
The nap is inevitable again.
