McKissIck of the South Carolina con ference died suddenly on Saturday night, February 13, at the parsonage at Cades. The burial took place Monday morning at Bethesda Meth odist church,near this place. Mr. McKiasick was transferred from the Georgia conference 17 years ago, aud continuously since has been engaged in the regular itinerant work of a member of the conference of the State. At the last session of the con ference he was assigned to the Cades cireuit and had just settled down to his charge when death came to him. He was 60 years of age and is sur vived by Mis. J. A. Grice, Mr. Charles McKissick of Effingham and 13 children.
