Calder Robertson died yesterday
morning at 6 o’clock, after an illness Jof
about two years. For some time bis
recovery had been prononnoed impossi
ble by eminent physicians, who did
all known to medical science for him.
While h's death was expeotsid at au>

deed s shock to the community of Great
Swamp when the news spread from
neighbor to neighbor that /‘Calder is
dead!"
For many months, day and sight the
mother had been at the bedside of her
oldist son, nursing and trying to relieve
hls suffering. A yonng and devoted
wife dfd all she coaid for him, the an
xions father, was none the less atten
tive. Bat of no avail.
Calder was M years old. was the oldest
