DOTS FROM RUM GULLY.
- Hum GuHyT-Jan,-^, Editor
Press and Standard: As I have
Dot seen anything from our com
munity for a good while gire'you
a few items.
Oar whde community has
been in mourning foi about six
weeks. There has been so many
dsaths among us thatwre all spent
the holidays in sadness. Our
heartfelt sympathies go out to
the family of Mrs M A U Bishop,
who passed away on December
16th 1908. She leaves a large
family to mourn their loss. Also
Mrs Jenues has our sympathy in
%
the loss of her son, Johnnie. It
is su sad for her as she is a
widow and fJohnnie was almost
her sole support.
Miss Nettie Bishop and Eddie
Crosby were married at the home
of the bride on Sunday, Jan . 10.
The cerenrony was performed by
Hon . W C Brant.
Mrs A Q Lyons is at home
after spending a few weeks with
relatives at Camp Branch. We
are very glad to see little Lucile
so much improved after the
change.
Miss Emma Hughey and Pettie
Heutz are visiting friends at-
Camp Branch.
Miss Jessie Carter, who hasi
been visiting relatives and
friends has returned.
Mr and Mrs 1 N Bell are visit"
