HIOTT—Mrs Iridora Hiott, wife of
A P Hiott, was born in Colleton Coun
ty in the year 1966. on Aneust 80. She

A SAD DEATH-
Islandton, Jan. 11,—Special: On
Thursday, the 7th day of Jan. 1909,
John Jenness, son of Mrs. Carolina
Jenness," died at his home near
Islandton. He was only sick one
week with a severe case of pneu
monia. He leaves a mother, three
sisters and four brothers to mourn
his departure. We extend our heart
felt sympathy to the bereaved faaii-

but the Lord has need of you, ami
we know that He has said, “Come
unto me and I will give you rest.”
