Doctor’s Vreek school has been
! open sometime, Miss Lula Griffin
of Omega in our teacher, with
fairly good attendance, from tha
heginnine, though I did not get
to start at first, bnt am np with
the classes iu my grade. We
live .further than any of the
scholars that go to school—it ia
just about three miles though
we do not mind it, for we have a
nice teacher, and good class
mates.
Our (eacher spent Thankgiving
Savannah. Tliankgivyig day
was observed at Docidn^Ureek,
i here was a good collection for
Connie Maxwell orphangc.
Cane grinding is nearly dona
around here, a few of ns scholars
exchanged evenings for same.
The next go-round will be hog
killing times then for puddings
and sausage etc;
~ Then we will begin to . make
preparations for Xmas, hope all
will have a good time.
