Mini Of NR. C. F. RFNTZ.
Mr. C. F. Rente, a highly
pected citizen of this county,
died at his home in the Ehr-
haHt section last Friday night.
His death was a great shock
to his family and friends, as it
was very sudden. Mr. Rentz
had been sitting around the
fire playing with his little grand
child just before retiring, but
he complained of not feeling
well retired ahead of the rest
of the family. Soon after he
had gone to bed he coughed
several times and on going to
his bed he was found to be in
a dying condition and soon
expired. It is supposed his
death was caused from apo
plexy, as he was of stout build
and had recently been suffering
a great deal with indi jestion.
rpfv. tfv'V place Satur
day morning at Pleasant Hill
Methodsit church, near Ehr
hardt, Mr. Rentz having long
been a member and steward of
this church The services
were conducted by his pastor,
Rev. T. L. Bclvii), after which
the body was buried with
Masonic honors, Mr. Rentz
having for years been a loyal
and faithful member of the
order.
