the latter. In order to have State
prohibition, we mu&t have a prohibi
tion legislature and a prohibition
governor. 1. therefore, call upon all
Christian voters to make a fearless,
honest tight for governor and re
presentatives to the legislature.
Vote for oo man for legislature who
is opposed to prohibition, either
county or state. 1 would go further
and say vote for no man for this
office who is not unequivocally in
favor of prohibition, either or both
county and state.
There are but two candidates for
governor. Ansel, the prohibiton
candidate, a high toned Christian
gentleman, a man of character and
Stirling worth—Blease, the dispen
sary candidate, the most radical
dispensary man in the State, a demo-
gogue and unfit for the high office
of governor. Which will you vote
for? Aneel represents sobriety,
happiness in the home, peace in the
community, prosperity in church
and State. Blea-te represents drunk-
eness, shame, immorality, wretched
homes unsafe communities, deter
ioration of church and State. Which
will you vote for? Will you uphold
the honor and integrity of our
grand old State bo casting your bal
lot for Ansel? Or will you let her
banners trail in the dust and shame
of Blease election? Personally, 1
have hot one thing against Mr.
Blease. We have been acquailed
for years, and from time to time
have been pleasalty associated with
each other, and, oo far aa I can re
call, an unpleasant word has never
paaad between up; but this politi
cal prindpka and view* are u'terly
