Creek church on yesterday after
noon waa well attended. The
popular pastor, Rev. Smith gives
us sound, practical sermons. He
seems to be gaining in favor
with the people generally.

spent most of the winter with

laat week to his home in Ander
son County.

paper, as 1 have not written in a long

Mias Ethel Godman, who has been
teaching the Peoples. School has re
turned home oneooouut of the ill
ness of her mother. Mias Godman will
be sadly mused by her many friends.

Well, I hear there is a sham
ont, Mr Geot Kickenbaker has been
missing but he is baok in town. I
bear that the wedding bells are not
throngh ringing. Mr Qeat Uicken
baker and Miss Dora Utaey will soon
be missing.
Mr Johnnie Pritchard has
pair of mules when he drives he
drives a pair.
Henry Padgett and wife have moved
to day, he went to Walterboro to bay
ap ovens and pots.
Miss Sallie Weeks was accompani
ed by quite a large crowd Sunday
afternoon among those who were
present were Mim Mollie Hiott Miss
Dors Utaey Miss Annie Padgett,
Master Boy Adderson Mr Dsvling
Driggers.
Mim Scott's school will soon be out
and Mim Edith Hill will soon be
back home again.

Dear Mr Editor;—I am glad to say
that we had one of the grandest sings
ever known a few nights ago at the
home of Mr. J. D. Puchanons. There
were about forty young people present
and Misses Lerline Crook and Jessie
Carter performed at the organ.
.Ve are sorry to say that Miss Sad
dle Harper will return home in a few
days
Mrs. 8. J. Carter is very ill at this
writing, but we hope for her a speedy
recovery.
The prayermeeting at Adnah is
still on a boom.
