B R Ulmer Writes
Editor Press and Standard:—Al
low me space to write and let you
and my friends know where I am
and w hat I am doing.
I am back again in the Bible Insti
tute; have been here since January
8th. W’e/tre all having a Hallelujah
time. We are studying to show our
selves approved of God—a wrork of
which we need not be ashamed.
Brother Moody D. Cotton, one
of the most promising young men
we ever met, who had been a student
of this Institute for five years, pass
ed over to receive his reward Febru
ary 10th. I know the many friends
he made in Colleton last Summer
during the meeting will be much
grieved to learn of his death so soon.
He was at the time of his death, in
Dayton, Va. His remains Were
brought to Greenville, S. C. for
interment. He is survived by Ins
mother, a brother and three sisters.
His last words were so comforting
to us that we could only bow nr sub
mission to the will of our dear
Father, who does all things best.
“Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep,
From w hich none ever wake to weep,
A calm and undisturbed repote,
Unbroken by tne last of foes.”
Freeman, Alarch 4. B. R. Ulmer.
