communities in the county where we
have no comspondente; we should
be glad to arrange in these com
munities with some persor s to set as
our correspondents.
This is an age of advertising and
it is necessary for any community
to set forthlits advantages, and noth

live oorrespondence^ith the ooqnty

We are informed by theeouuty

been paid in so far on the com
mutation tax. Last year $8850
was collected. It seems the
people are determined not to pay
this tax. We believe thoee refus

books it should be obeyed. If

Sometime ago a petittiou was
circulated in town for the purpose
of calling an election to bond the
town tor a graded school ouilding.
The petition a carries a number of
signatures, but lacks about fifteen of
