Sjveuty-two years ago Mr. Remley
was born at Masbawville this County.
He was noted for his upright life,
truth, honesty and sobriety. He was
a life long consistent Mnhodist, loved
his church and was always ready to
contribute to his Cause. When the
war between the States broke out hq
like all true Southerners, offered nis
services, but on account of physics 1
disabilities he received an honorable
discharge from the army He return
ed home and rendered valuable ser
vices, to the community during those
trying and dreadful days.
The sad news of Mr. Remley’s
death was a shock to his many rel
atives and friends in this County. We
extend our sympathies to the bereaved
family in this, their sad affliction.
