Lemacks Stokes of North Augusta has been spending the holidays visiting relatives and friends in town. Rev. Stokes preached an able end instructive sermon at the Methodist church Sunday morn ing. As the evening flopped its wings in flight to tbs passing hours the merry ftrowd began to realise that tbe old year was lastly approaching an in stantaneous death. The centre of pleasure of the even ing was the old time Virginia Ifeel. Everyone of tbe g«y oreprd took part. After this oame music, ringing and danoing, in which we all indulged and was hugely enjoyed.
