day evening at the home of the
bride’s parents, near town, Mr. and
Mrs. B. \Y. Goodwin, Only a few
relatives and friends were present, j

Rev. F. O. S. Curl is. The bride is
the pretty and accomplished dauJih-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Goodwin and
is much loved by all who know

man of great promise and enjoys

D. L. Walker was married to Miss
Dora Petit, all of this county. Mr.
Walker is son of the well-known
scbool-teacher, Mr. Edwin Walker
of Salkehatchie. Miss Petit the
daughter of Mr. G. W. Petit of
Salkehatchie. The groom is a rail
road man and left for Savannah
on the midnight train with his bride.
