Lacien Patterson, 'whose foot was badly cut some days ago while he was riding on a lever car, is out on crutches now. J. M. The band was carried to Hendersonville and dancing was enjoyed in the afternoon and evening at the Club House. Dispenser Patterson of the Wal terboro dispensary has been very much annoyed recently by numerous prescriptions from physicians for whiskey after hours and on Sunday. He decided to ascertain if he could not keep from being annoyed in this manner and wrote the attorney gen eral for information. He received the following reply, so it will be neceasa- for tjioee anticipating these peculiar attacks to prepare beforehand. “Dear Sir: When in doubt as to your duties under the dispensary law you should apply to your county dis pensary board, as you are amenable to it in the discharge of your duties However, I am pleased to give yqy the information requested in your letter. Section 14 of the dispensary law provides: ‘No sale or oelivenr permitted under this act shall be made on Sunday, on a legal holiday, on a general or primary election day Or between sunset ond sunrise of any day.'
