of the town.
The citizens of the town, know what
truth, if any, attaches to these rumora,
and it is for this reason that we urge
the luteudant to have the proceedings
of the meetings of conncil published,
wiih the names of the members present
and the way each one votes on every
nubile question. Voteisare entitled 4^
have this, aud they should have it
to beable to vote intelligently. If there
ire obstructionists in conncil their
places should be filled by new member.
If there are employers of the town net
earning the salary paid them, it is the
the duty of conncil to remove tbem._J.f

my member of council does not per
form his duty, he should be asked by
the other membsrs who do their duty to

anyone should shirk his pntdio duty.
Everyone has and should have a part
in the town’s progress.
