A'Palaful Accident.
Frank Price, who lives a few miles
from town, one day last week was on
hit way lo Hampton, accompanied by
his *iie and children. The mule he
wee driving became frightened it an
ox cart and tried to run. Fortunately
Mrs Price and the children got oat of
the buggy. Mr Price attempted to
bold the mule and was dragged per
baps a huundred yards when the
mule threw him, and stepping on his
leg broke it just above the ankle
He was taken on to Hampton where
hie leg was set by Dr Moore. WhiL*
very painful he is doing as well as
well as could be expected. Mr Price

the Baptist church on the 14th of No
vember.
This is followed by that of Miss Julia
Fripp to O L Fishburne on the 15th of
November at home.
The next will be Miss Jaoie Neyto to
H. 8. Glover, at the Episcopal church
the 96rd of November.

Association Meeting.
The Colleton Baptisit Association met
at the Baptist church here last Friday.
Nearly every church in the county was
represented, and busineas of importance
to the aaeociatlon was transacted. The
eld officers were re-elected as follows:

Cierk. The next aaeociatlon will be
