The Sunday school picnic at this
place which was held last Friday met
with great success, notwithstanding
the bad weather that day there was
four or five hundred people there.
We had some good speeches, plenty
of lemonade, and dinner, which every
body seemed to enjoy.
In the afternoon there was a game
of baseball between Smoaks and
Hartzog. This was one of the best
games of this season. The final
score was 6 to 2 in favor of Smoaks.
The game was at seven innings on.
