We had some good speeches, plenty of lemonade, and dinner, which every body seemed to enjoy. In the afternoon there was a game of baseball between Smoaks and Hartzog. This was one of the best games of this season. The final score was 6 to 2 in favor of Smoaks. The game was at seven innings on. account of some of the boys having to leave. Miss Eftie Jones, of Ashton, is visiting her sister at Smoaks, .Mrs Willie Berry.
