Miss Maud Beach, of Chorlestou, is ■pendiog a week with her mother, Mrs J. T. Beach. Miss Maud has many friends here who are glad to see her at home MrsJ. L. Daniel and children left our city Thursday for Waterloo, where they will spend meat of the summer. On their way up they will stay several days with friends in Summerville. The friends of R. R. Black, of Florida, are glad to eee him in Walterboro this week looking so well. Mr Black will visit relatives in our town and in the county before retaining. • Jacob Padgett, eon of J. B. The many friends of Mr and Mrs Henry Koger were pained to learn of the death of their infant son, Glover, which occurred at the home of Mr and | MrsJ. 8. Glover in town, Thursday afteracon at 8.90 o'clock. Tho funeral services were conducted by the Rev. L. F. Guerry at the house Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock and the- interment wae at Live Oak Cemetery.
